Tarot Cards corresponding time frames?

Tarot Cards corresponding time frames?

I want to do a time frame reading for myself. I don’t know what the cards corresponding time frames are.
when I looked on line, I get different times for the cards…..

ie: Wands = days, Pents = weeks and one site said Pents was years and Swords was days….I’m confused???

It’s not done the same by everyone, so is there a general pattern most people use? Or can someone lead me to a site or book I can get the answer from that is reliable. Thanks for taking the time if you can help me!

A method of timing using the Ace using the Ace and all numbers as the week number. The suit is the season. wands = spring; cups = summer; pentacles = autumn; swords = winter.

An ace then represents the first week of the season, at two is the second week of the season, and so on, though the queen as the thirteenth week of the season. Kings represent the transition from one season to the next.

This card is picked asking the question for the spread, “When will this happen” “When is a good time to do this?” with the Kings meaning it will be completed sometime around the end of the season and going in the next…or according to Gail Fairfield was completed already, last season.

If instead you pull a major, the completion is X days away. In the case of the Fool the time is unknown but every other Major card is X days away from the reading with the number of the major being the amount of time.

Here’s an example pulling the world 21 is either 21 days or 3 weeks away depending upon the spread itself and whether the right things happen i.e. you take the spreads advice :-)”

I especially like the role the Court cards play in this method. Now I just need to come up with a question for this ’cause I can’t wait to put this one to the test!

You can also use the information in concert with that of Daily or One Card Draw. Pulling out one card, you can grasp the details of it from the images, but you can also counter-balance the drawn car to that of the various cards covering that particular time-frame reference.

As an example… A card pulled today (NOV 20 2014) whatever that card may be, can be counter-balanced against the card that has either the direct influence (2 Cups,) motivating influence (Queen Cups,) and indirect influence (The Chariot,) or taken together as a multi-layered prespective, to see how the background or environment is laid out for that particular drawn card.

The underlying process within Tarot is that of Tropical Astrology. As such, the various zodiacal correspondences of certain cards can be utilized for a time-frame reference. The Trumps function in the capacity of the zodiac signs in the totality of their archetypal essence. The Courts function in the capacity of the zodiac signs as to the Cusps in their psychological essence. The Minors function in the capacity of the zodiac signs as to the Decans in their mundane essence…
