loved lost

“Wow! I had been dating a person for almost an year… We broke up when Ceres was making a square with my Sun… and I really felt like I had lost something very important for me then…”

Okay, folks, here are more details on the Ceres showing the end of marriage. The horoscope we are looking at: Ceres in the 7th house, under Uranus square (Uranus in 5th), Jupiter in the 7th house – standing 10 degree from Ceres. The first time of it returns during that marriage – they split because he talked her into having an abortion. But she forgave him and took him back after a month or so. The second time of C’s return she found out that he got a mistress, but took the blame for it, and tried to work it out. Did not help. The relationship kept falling apart – because the evil Ceres moves fairly fast, and returns come about every 3 years. So, finally, on the latest return, she found out he has been foolling behind her back with another woman for the last 4 years. BTW – the husband got involved with that other woman when transit took square from natal Black Moon of the wife’s chart. Anyway, at the same time, with it making return, her Jupiter was closing his cycle as well. It’s return came, but Jupiter went retro not quite making his. It resulted in a year of delay – again, too much struggle on her part, because she was not ready to give up, and kept trying hard to rebuild what was already ruined. Finally, when Jupiter made his return – and itwas already 90 degree ahead of natal Jupiter, she started the legal procedure. The actual divorce will happen with her Black Moon entering her 7th house, how funny is THAT.

Wow! I’m beginning the process of a divorce (which makes sense with my natal Ceres/Sun conjunction with my Sun in the 7th house) and I’ve been married for almost eight years. I chose to tell him about my decision last year (seventh year of the marriage). This is just too interesting.

Well, the worst outcomes when it is a conjunction. For instance – a planet in the 4th house – the death in the close family; a planet in the 7th – the divorce (not exactly at the time of the conjunction, but THE REASON showed up when Ceres made cycle and went over the 7th house planet). The latest case – the planet in the 2nd, the ruler of the 12th in conjunction with Ceres in the natal chart, Ceres making cycle and shortly (within few days) after that goes over that 12th house ruler – financial SIGNIFICANT losses, losing basically everything, not only monetary values, but friends, selfrespect, daily little comforts, ending up (or rather down) in the ditch, so to speak – due to the owner’s drinking-cheating-lying problems.

“Ceres may be the evil mother that brings the winter or she might bring you the harvest… if you work for it, of course! (Maybe she is a good partner for Saturn!)
Maybe her position in the natal chart points out an area in which we need to “give birth” to something…”

My Natal Ceres is in Cancer/6th house and conjunct to my Sun in Cancer/7th house. Talk about “work”! I know I have a lot of work to do on myself as it is trine to my Natal Moon/Neptune conjunction (Scorpio/10th house) and Jupiter (Pisces/2nd house). That and it’s in opposition to my Asc (Capricorn).

Regarding natal Ceres, Bob Marks has an interesting description of the signs, house placements and effects of aspects. I know it’s not easy to find info on transits, but nurturing has a lot to do with Ceres, apparently.

i’ve been watching ceres too, and think that timing of birth as well as death can apply. During my 2004 solar return year I had my solar ceres (in h5) conjunt my natal ceres (in h12). I also had solar mars(also in h5) conjunt natal venus(h12) and mercury (solar h5) conj natal north node. My son gus was born Nov 2004. Looking back at my past solar return and natal chart comparison i can totally see him there in the fifth house.

i am interested to hear about other people’s experience of ceres and death.

hmh. so much for the idea of it being the ‘nuturing’ kind of asteroid/planetoid or whatever it actually is.

I have been watching her for several years, and she seems to bring destruction. Physical death even, in some cases. But definitely – demolishing of structures of the house under her transit.
